Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines, as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 12, p. 21. Works number was 7105 in January 1884.

This little tank with the long wheelbase served the NCRM and its successor, Illinois Stell until 1901, when it was sold to locomotive rebuilder/reseller Birmingham Rail and Locomotive. BR & L sold the engine to M D Tate of Purvis, Miss, which operated it as #17 until 1905, when the James Hand Lumber Company of Nortac, Miss bought it.
