Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 32, p. 293. Baldwin works numbers were 24503 in July 1904 and 32982 in September 1908.
The 3 and 4 were essentially identical to the Central Cambalache's #1, delivered to Cuba in 1906 (Locobase 13014), but set up for the 3-foot gauge. The 3's owner was listed as Lebermuth & Israel Planting Company Ltd but was lettered for the "Salsbury Refining Co, Ltd" in a later change in the specs. (One supposes the Salsburg fixed the y at some point.) The 4 arrived 4 years later.
