Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 53, pp. 109. Works number was 44347 in October 1916.

The specifications advise that the locomotive was "to handle two big standard cars, total weight of cars and lading 160 to 170 tons" for its Bristol, Connecticut owner. The Sessions Foundry was described in 1909 as the largest and best-equipped foundry east of Chicago.
