Builder info from B.Rumary, 25 Kingscombe, Gurney Slade, Radstock, BA3 4TH, ENGLAND and Jeremy Lambert as supplied by Allen Stanley in March 2004.
Works numbers were 1409-1411.
The locomotives retained the numbers when the railroad became the Cleveland, Lorain & Wheeling in 1895. Renumbered 907-908, 916 when the CL&W became part of the B&O in 1902; they were classified K-9. They didn't last long on the B&O, with
Alvin F Staufer & Lawrence W Sagle, B & O Power (1964). Photograph shows widespread drivers, steam dome perched on the wagontop firebox, tapered stack.
