Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 3 (Locobase 14345)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Vol 53, pp. 365+. Works numbers were 42076 in May 1915.

This was a New Jersey mining road that provided passenger service for the miners. The MHMRR was incorporated into the Central of New Jersey in 1930.

Meanwhile the 3 was sold to E H Wilson Company, who sold it to locomotive rebuilder/reseller Birmingham Rail & Locomotive. In March 1929, BR&L sold the engine to the Cherry River Boom & Lumber of Richwood, WVa.
