Tidewater 2-8-0 "Consolidation" Locomotives in the USA

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class CB/303 (Locobase 12854)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 28, p. 158. Works numbers were 26952-26953 in November 1905.

Baldwin listed the coal capacity as "9-10 tons" in this relatively light and small Consolidation pair. They may have been dwarfed by much of the Virginian's motive power stud over the years, but they remained on the roster until December 1933.
