Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 101 (Locobase 13894)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 40, p. 19. Works numbers were 37048 in June 1912 and 38822 in November.

Both of the Ten-wheelers were bought by Grandin Lumber, which exploited 70,000 acres in North Carolina's Wilkes and Watauga counties. The Watauga Railway was not the same line as the Watauga & Yadkin River.
