Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 7 (Locobase 14144)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Vol 48, p. 245. Works number was 39933 in June 1913.

This small logging Mikado was ordered by the Louisiana & Texas Lumber Company for its Texas operation. It was intended to negotiate 230 ft/70 metre (25 degrees radii) curves

The 7 later operated on Delta Land & Timber's Missouri & Louisiana, which was later renamed the Neame, Carson & Southern. The NC&S sold the 7 in 1927 to Kirby Lumber, which renumbered it 94.
