Data from CofGa 1905 and CofGa 11 - 1927 Locomotive Diagrams supplied in May 2005 by Allen Stanley from his extensive Rail Data Exchange. See also DeGolyer, Volume 13, p. 203. Works numbers were 8905-8906 in November 1887
The Covington & Macon ordered three locomotives in November 1886 that were identical to the earlier order described in Locobase 7924. None of the three was delivered to the C&M. These two were sold to the O&NW in March 1888, which became the Cincinnati Portsmouth & Virginia in 1891 and was taken into the Norfolk & Western in 1901.
Both were scrapped in November 1905.
Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 13, p. 194. Works numbers were 8417-8418 in March 1887; 8602-8604, 8606 in June.
All of these Eight-wheelers were later upgraded to N1s, which had 18 1/2" cylinders and taller drivers.
Data from Angus Sinclair, "Ratio of Heating Surface to Grate Area and Cylinder Volume," Locomotive Engineering, Volume X [10], No. 4 (April 1897), pp. 316-318. Works numbers were 3901-3905 in March 1888.
Road number 34 was sold to the Ohio River & Columbus in April 1914. The other four were scrapped in 1914-1915.
