Philadelphia & Atlantic City 4-4-0 "American" Locomotives in the USA

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 9 (Locobase 11778)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 9, p. 66 Works numbers were 5149 and 5180 in June 1880.

This railway was built to an unusual gauge and a straight main line from Camden to Atlantic City. It was enlarged to the standard gauge in 1884. Locobase cannot determine what happened to these two engines after that.
