Data from John Weale, Benjamin Franklin Isherwood, Edward Dobson, Ensamples of Railway Making: Which, Although Not of English Practice, are Submitted, with Practical Illustrations, to the Civil Engineer, and the British and Irish Public (Architectural library, 1843), p. xxi.
Boiler pressure is a Locobase estimate. Similar to the 4-2-0 shown in Locobase 9682, this engine was intended to draw "very heavy loads" at 15-18 mph. The authors cited a connection between the drivers and the truck "...ingeniously arranged to throw either more or less weight on the principal driving wheels."
NB: Evaporative heating surface area estimate derived by adding reported direct heating surface to calculated tube heating surface
