Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 47 (Locobase 13450)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 40, p. 133. Works number was 37616 in April 1912.

It's interesting to note that a timber-harvesting Ten-wheeler burned oil.

The L & P closed in 1926 and the 47 reverted to the parent corporation Long Bell Lumber Company.
