Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 6 (Locobase 13697)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works datacard as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 36, p.13 . Works numbers were 35542 in November 1910.

Opened in 1872 and owned by the Central of Georgia since 1898, the L&W was a 10-mile short line connecting the two Georgia towns. This little Ten-wheeler differed from most Baldwins of similar size in using outside constant-lead radial valve gear.
