Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 7 (Locobase 12284)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Volume 21, p. 216. See also Donald R. Hensley, Jr., "The South Georgia Railway", archived at TapLines [link] . Works number was 15987 in June 1898.

The SG originally ran from Heartpine, Ga to Quitman, then to Greenville, Fla, 50 miles away from its origin.
