Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Vol 78, pp. 195 and Vol 79, p. 185. Works numbers were 58043 in September 1924, 58324 in March 1925, 59637 in November 1926, and 60610-60611 in September 1928.
These bi-fuel (coal and wood) locomotives had both a saddle tank (600 US gallons/2,271 litres) and a separate tender. They were in fact duplicates of the Valera , the small saddle-tank sold to the Roncajolos' other railway, the FC de la Ceiba (Locobase 15076). As the specifications warn, these locomotives were to operate over rough track.
After the Colon came the Cucuta, America, Maracaibo, and La Grita.
