Class T9a (Locobase 16685)

Data from CP-10-1911 Classificiation and Dimensions of Locomotives of the Canadian Pacific Railway supplied in August 2021. (Thanks to Chris Hohl for his 1 February 2025 email reporting the existence of this locomotive and supplying a spreadsheet laying out the data.) Works number was 1254 in June 1882.

In February 1912, the CP redesignated the T-9a as "shop tool" L1106 (probably reflecting its role as a yard switcher), the CP transferred the 1999 to Esquimault & Nainamo in 1912. The E&N scrapped it in June 1927..
