Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 39, p. 286. See also Martin Coombs, Part 6: Ecuadorian steam locomotive list from his Railways of the Far South series, v.1.24 (March 2026) on the web at [], last accessed 7 March 2026. Works number was 36372 in April 1911.
Baldwin supplied this oil-burning six-wheeler, which ran on the 78 km (48.4 miles) line between Bahía de Caraquez and Chone in the Province of Manabi. Originally projected to reach Quito (350 km), the railway cut back its line to Calceta (55 km/34 miles) by 1925.
