The L-D paid 68,4000 Swiss Francs of these two engines and operated them on the steep grades for decades. In 1895, the Landquart-Davos changed its name to the Rhaetia Bahn and the engines were numbered 21-22.
After almost 20 years of service, the RB replaced the boiler and added a leading truck to the pair; the result is seen in locobase 12746.
