Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class Type 32 (Locobase 20429)

Data from Schneider Catalogue, last accessed 27 August 2018 at [], pp. 12-13 See also Pere Comas and Alfred Puig, Breve Historia de la Traccion Vapor en MZA, AFB011H02 (January 2020), pp 19-20. Works numbers were 321-332 in 1857.

When taken into the Madrid, Zaragoza y Alicante (MZA) in 1875, these dozen six-wheelers presented slightly less cylinder volume into which the steam entered at a lower pressure.

Comas and Puig don't say how long the class lasted on the MZA, but it's no surprise that they had dropped off the motive-power list by the time Spain nationalized the rail system as RENFE in 1938.
