Data from "Nizams Guaranteed State Railway Type 4-6-0", Locomotives Constructed by Kitson & Co,. Ltd (Leeds: n.d.) . Works numbers were 5132-5136 in 1915.
Data from Charles S Lake, "New British-built Locomotives for India," Model Engineer and Practical Electrician, May 18, 1933, p. 466. Works numbers were 4561-4563 in 1933.
Lake noted about this design that it was a straightforward layout with a Belapaire firebox and all of the mod cons: an ACFI (Compagnie des Auxiliaires des Chemins de Fer et de l'Industrie) feed water heater, vacuum brake, electric cab and head lights. The accompanying illustration shows a stocky Ten-wheeler.
