Data from DeGolyer, Volume 60, pp. 154. Works number was 46896 in November 1917.
This skinny-gauge mining locomotive's specification included a frequent advisement to make "all springs to be one plate heavier than usual". Other information concerned the service the engine was to perform: "Locomotive to haul a train of 12 ore cars, the total weight of car and ore to be 3 tons each, a distance of three miles (4.8 km), the run to be made in about 15 minutes." Maximum grade on this lines was about 2%.
(Marshall valve gear was an adaptation of Walschaert's gear for very small locomotives.)
