Data from Robert Stirling, "The Tocapilla Railway" (Paper 3198), Minutes of Proceedings of the Institution of Civil Engineers, Volume 142 (3 April 1900) pp. 89-102 in Table II. See also Martin Coombs, Chilean steam locomotive list, Part 2, Standard, 4' 6", 4' 2" and 3' 6" locos, 2018, p. 89 downloaded from []. Works numbers were 1107 in 1888 and 1126 in 1889.
These were small shunters.Coombs cited a 1930 US report that showed a growth in overall length from 18' 11" to 30' 7". Coombs inferred that the railway may have fitted one or both of the class with carrying wheels and even an "inspection saloon" [that would hold several persons during right-of-way inspection trips?].
