Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 21, p. 19. Works number was 15337 in May 1897..
Locobase 11622 describes two Consolidations on a Salvadorean railway that were identical to this 2-8-0 delivered six years later. Not too long after its arrival, the engine went to the San Salvador y Santa Tecla and received number 31. In 1912, the SS & ST was taken into the Guatemala Railway, which soon formed part of the International Railways of Central America. The 31 was renumbered 34 in 1928 and continued in service for at least another 24 years.
