0-6-0 Steam Locomotives in Indonesia

United States Rubber Corporation

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class unknown (Locobase 15089)

Data from set of original DLW diagrams offered for sale on Ebay in March 2013. Works numbers were 1816-1817 in July 1920.

Locobase infers this stock locomotive's destination from the following "clues": Connelly's Davenport production list shows only three locomotives that had three adhesion axles, small drivers, and the cylinder diameter and stroke shown in the diagram. The single locomotive in 1905 went to Puerto Rico to serve the San Juan Sugar Corporation on a 3-foot (914 mm) gauge line.

The other two found a buyer in a US firm operating on the island of Sumatra.
