4-6-2 Steam Locomotives in Argentina

FC Cordoba Central

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class B24 (Locobase 3707)

Data provided by Carlos Alberto Fernandez Priotti in Bryan Attewell ([] Steam Locomotive simulator program (April 2000). Works numbers were 12787-12809 in 1914.

Mixed-traffic locomotives running on the metre gauge. Although not terribly big for a 4-6-2 on that gauge width, they did offer a healthy amount of superheat and considerable power. The tradeoff came in the form of a low factor of adhesion.
