Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University, Vol 14, pp. 253. Works numbers were 9908-9910, 9912-9913, 9915-9917, 9919-9921, 9927 in April 1889.
Baldwin enjoyed limited success in Argentina selling to British-owned railroads, but it managed to persuade the Provincial Railways to buy a dozen six-coupled saddle tanks. The specs estimated the locomotive's weight at 62,000 lb (28,123 kg), but later notes show that the order was delivered almost 6 tons heavier (5,443 kg).
The order of locomotives by builder's numbers resulted in the following road number order: 113, 115-116, 114, 118, 120, 119, 117, 122-123, 121, and 124.
The Provincial Railways later became the FC del Oeste.
