Class Pioneer (Locobase 12692)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Vol 19, p. 94. Works number was 24168 in April 1904.

Essentially identical to the Moguls bought for the Canada Atlantic in 1894 (Locobse 12103), this engine also operated in Nova Scotia. The Midland was aquired by the Dominion Atlantic in 1905; the DA renumbered the engine as 28.

The little 2-6-0 operated for almost 20 years before being scrapped in 1923.
