Class Gruppo 13/Tipo K (Locobase 10755)

Data from Charles King, "The Chilian [sic] State Railways," The Railway Magazine, Volume 22 (March 1908), pp. 209-214; see also the introductory article in the same journal at February 1908, pp.143-150; and Martin Coombs, Chilean steam locomotive list, Part 3-Metre Gauge (March 2022), downloaded [], p. 112. Works numbers were 5896-5897 in 1906.

This class used the same boilers, pony trucks, cylinders, motion, drivers, and axle-boxes as the metre-gauge 2-6-0 shown in Locobase 10753 in a design intended for local traffic on the Coquimbo-Rivadivia line.

Coombs tracked the two through various reports and found them on the roster as late as the 1950s.
