Data from Chilean State Railways (EFE) diagram book, 13, supplied in August 2025 by Allen Stanley from his extensive Rail Data Exchange collection..Works numbers were 728 and 848 in 1856, 997 in 1860, and 2303 in 1872.
When the EFE took in the FC del Sur's locomotives, they renumbered them as shown. Class leader (loosely speaking) 62 surrendered its original name of Santiago and was renamed Pelequen. Maipu likewise gave way to Rancagua. Rengo and Teno retained theirs.
In the 1908 diagram, only a total evaporative heating surface area appears in the dimensions. Yet the tube heating surface calculated for the given tube count and length comes to 799 sq ft (74.23 sq m).
