Data from "Recent Baldwin Locomotives for Export", Railway Gazette, Volume 61, No. 11 (15 September 1916), p. 465-466. See also DeGolyer, Vol 60, pp. 176. Works numbers were 43655-43656 in July 1916.
When the Canton-Hankow bought ten locomotives from Baldwin in 1916, two were the tanks shown in this entry. They were fitted with Belpaire fireboxes and 8" (203 mm) piston valves. (The 2-8-0 and 4-6-0s appear in Locobases 13443-13444.)
