This was a big, sturdy tank engine with a short Belpaire boiler, water tanks on both sides from the middle driver set to the cab (these held 1,960 Imp gallons/2,352 US gal) and a bunker tank over the trailing bogie that held 540 Imp gal (648 US gal).
