The Central Baguanos was built at Holguin in Oriente Province in 1917. Its capacity approached 150,000 bags, which it conveyed to the export port at Antilla on a light branch line. These two bi-fuel (coal or wood) supeheated plantation Moguls had unusually long wheelbases for their size.

The ingenio that this locomotive served was located at Dos Caminos de San Luis, Oriente. CB opened in 1914 and was the property of Senor Luis de Eehaverria and Senora Viuda e hijos (the widow and sons) of Carlos Schuman. It was under the direction of Senor Lorenzo Fresneda, ex-chief of Traffic at Central Chaparra.
After the 1959 Revolucion and expropriation, the CB would be renamed for Paquito Rosales.

After the first two superheated, long-wheelbase Moguls were delivered in early 1920, the next Eddystone product for this Oriente Province processor was a more prosaic design. No superheater, shorter wheelbase, but one update was the adoption of an oil burner.
