Works numbers were 1772-1777 in 1865, 2429-2431 in October 1869, 2643-2652, 2670-2679, 2733-2742 in 1871, 2883-2902 in 1872, 3009-3014 in May 1873, 3089-3098 later in 1873, 3308-3313 in 1874.

Engines of the "Bourbonaisse" type with a dummy frame that supported the outside top corner of the pistons. All six wheels had splashers, a tall firebox, steam dome well forward, and a tall stack with flared top.
