(Note: Wikipedia identifies the builder as Mecklenburgische Waggonfabrik-Aktiengesellschaft, which was founded in Gustrow in 1857 and folded in 1897.)

Bought from the MWA to support the construction of the NWE, these three tanks then shunted rolling stock. Number 2's boiler suffered boiler damage in 1936 and was decommissioned after 40 years of service. The other two served throughout World War II and into the 1960s. 1 left the roster in 1960. 3 went to the Reichenbach (Vogtland)-Oberheinsdorf line in 1961, returned to the NWE in1963, and was dismantled in 1967, 71 years after entering service..
