Data from DeGolyer, Vol 63, pp. 326. Works number was 53782 in October 1920.
Wood-burning plantation six-coupled exhausted through a Rushton Improved cabbage stack.
The James Charley group was located in Westmoreland. The railway serving these plantations had maximum grades of 1 1/2% and maximum curves of a very tight 90 foot (27.4 metre) radius or more than 50 degrees.
At the time of its sale to Tate & Lyle in 1936, the assembly of plantations was the largest in the island.
