Central Providencia

Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 2 (Locobase 12728)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 30, p. 129. Works number was 29278 in October 1906.

Even though this skinny-gauge Mogul was bigger than the 1904 engine shown in Locobase 12727, it didn't remain any longer on the CP. It too went to Mexico's FC de Atlamaxac. When the Mexicano took over the Atlamaxac, it retained the original engine number.
