Class Details by Steve Llanso of Sweat House Media

Class 1 (Locobase 11719)

Data from Baldwin Locomotive Works Specification for Engines as digitized by the DeGolyer Library of Southern Methodist University Volume 16, p. 184. Works numbers numbers were 11524 in January 1891 and 11719 in March.

This pair of double-ended, wood-burners lettered as shown in the Railroad description, but the spec described the buyer as Mexican Pacific. Their Radley & Hunter stacks were intended to reduce the chance fo trackside fires. Specs called for the total engine & tender wheelbase "not to exceed 48 ft."
