This lone Vauclain compound Consolidation went with the M&NG when it was transformed into the Atlanta, Knoxville & Northern. In 1898, the 25 was sold to the Texas Central and renumbered 112; it was renumbered 681 when the TC was absorbed by the Missouri-Kansas-Texas. In 1914, the Katy rebuilt the engine with 19" x 24" simple-expanson cylinders.
