Data from L&N 8 1927 Locomotive Diagrams supplied in May 2005 by Allen Stanley from his extensive Rail Data Exchange. Works numbers were 1228-1229 in March 1891 and 1230-1235 in April.
Eight locomotives were sold by the P&LE to the Atlanta, Knoxville & Northern in 1899. Most roster compilers described record uncertainties about which engines they were. In any case, the eight received road numbers 342-349 when the AK&N merged with the Louisville & Nashville in 1905.
