La Compañía Carbonífera de Rosita founded on August 10, 1904, had in
operation, among others, three Porter 0-4-0T BS running coal-fueled
steam-powered yard machines with serial number 3359 manufactured in 1905, and
with the Operation number 5 type switcher called Lupita, name that was
assigned to her during the organization of the fair of Sabinas, Coah., in
honor of Don Luis Jaime Tamayo's mother.

The other two with serial number 3359 manufactured in 1905 another with serial
number 4124 manufactured in March 1908 was a 1,435 ms scantling. (Hokes 2006).
All gave internal service to the company and were among the last to use coal
as fuel. It had a 43 km line and it was only used to transport coal in five
and a half ton gondolas to charge the four batteries of 400 beehive-type coke
ovens, it was traveling from Sabinas to Rosita.

Because the Frontera Coah Locomotive does not have any identification plate,
it cannot be assigned the corresponding manufacturing number: 3931 or 4124,
however, due to the sloping cover of the valves, it can be said that it is
more modern and could be considered like 4124. This is speculative.

It is marked as N of M, but it must be CCA SA. Little is known about this
locomotive, even by the locals
